rikm "The Time Has Come and Gone" finds Lycia in a stripped down and largely acoustic format, a style that particularly highlights and emphasizes both the musical talents and songwriting skills of the band.

As a listening experience it feels very intimate, very close at hand, and as a fan I truly appreciate the opportunity to hear one of my favorite bands in such a revealing context.

Highly recommended...

Jeff Richardson Interesting in that they re released this record without word; none needed really; sound from 19 years ago fits right in to today's dark dream pop world. Provides great contrast to one's heavier moods. Favorite track: Summer Time.

every day is a sunny day for everyone but me and all around I see happiness and feel it pulled away from me you're probably getting tired of hearing me complain I really wish I could stop but the past still haunts me on that day my perceptions changed now none of this feels the same I try real hard to anticipate a future day that's half way sane why must I fail? with all these hopes...just another day

don't you ever feel like you're running out of time and the petals turned to dust dried up in the moon shine don't you feel don't you ever feel like you want to turn back dandelion fields shine my memory fades to black don't you ever feel when the sun shines on your smile skies are reaching through your skin back to ocean dreams and summer child

moving swiftly day to day the time passes quickly yesterday... seems so close yet far away I just don't know what to say the words stagger in me my thoughts stray I can't remember through the crowd I find my way I move quick, desperately to the stage to the place of my decay fingers aching as I play the notes fight against me I delay I can't remember and every hope is... buried, wasted beneath these tired eyes and all these hopes are... buried, wasted and I just wonder why
